Introduction

To me, there is nothing more beautiful than a teenager who has made the all-important decision to totally dedicate his or her life to serving God. Such a teenager is full of joy, is pleasant to be around, and genuinely enjoys life. But, sad to say, many teenagers have not made that decision. Many feel they somehow are missing out on life if they don’t run with the crowd. They don’t want to be seen as “square,” and so they allow others to think for them, and to live their lives for them, thus leading them astray, and as a result, they end up living a confused, miserable, and unfulfilled teenage life which extends into their adult life.

The aim of this book is to help guide you in the right direction to a happy and fulfilled teenage life, and on to a fulfilled adult life. This book will encourage you to: (1) begin serving God while you are young; (2) be completely obedient to God; (3) make prayer a vital part of your life; (4) develop a great relationship with your parents; and (5) be a godly example to your peers and your siblings.

I believe you do not have to wait until you are twenty, thirty, or forty years old to do great things for God. Give Him your best years and in doing so, your teenage years will not be confusing to you. You can live a life of joy, peace, and purpose. But in order to live your teenage years to its fullest you have to make the important decision to make God the center of your life. So I encourage you, at this early stage in your life, to love God, to be obedient to Him, and seek His will for your life.
